If you ever want to feel loved, you should have a baby and then tell your friends and family they can come visit you in the hospital. Seriously. It is amazing.
After a very long day and night of labor, the visitors started coming the next afternoon. Here are just a few of the friends and family who came by.
Grandpa was Reed's first visitor. He actually came to see him early the next morning before he had to drive back to Dallas. What a sweet moment!
Grandmama loves holding little Reed.
You better believe Grandma was excited to hold her first grandbaby!
The Connells came over their lunch breaks. We've been through so many major life events with these friends - college, graduation, weddings and now babies. So sweet!
Erik's boss and our good friend, Earl Patrick. I got to talk to his wife, Barbara, on the phone, and she met Reed soon after.
Haylie Wardlaw and Reed's future best friend, Everett, who should be born any day now.
Dr. Patterson, who worked so hard to get Reed here. She's the best!
Erik's coworker and friend, Josh Carter. Josh and his sweet wife, Courtney, have been great friends to us over the years, and they have the most precious three kids. I'm hoping their oldest, Caroline, will babysit Reed one day!
And finally, one proud daddy! He sure loves holding his little boy.
Reed, you are one loved and blessed little boy.
