Grandma love

We are so thankful for this lady! Mom stayed with us for the entire week after Reed was born, and we are so glad she did. 

She was such a huge help, taking care of everything around the house and making sure we had home-cooked meals each day. Before we even made it home from the hospital, she went to HEB and made sure we had plenty of groceries at the house. For an entire week, there were no dirty dishes in the sink and the house kept on running.

But those things are minor compared to the love and support she gave us this week. The first week home with a new baby was really hard, and Mom was there to share advice (when we asked) and encourage us as we tried to figure things out. When things got really tough, she was a shoulder for me to cry on and reminded me that Reed will be just fine.

We love her so much and were sad to see her go. I have a feeling she'll be back very soon!

Momma, thank you for sharing your time and love with us this week. You have a servant's heart, and we are richly blessed by you. Reed sure loves his Grandma, and so do we!
