Size of baby: LBMH still is the size of a watermelon - 19-22 inches long and up to 7 pounds.
Total Weight Gain: 25-26 pounds - My weight has plateaued in the past few weeks. While a part of me is glad that I'm not gaining out of control, I do wish I felt better and could eat more. The acid reflux really limits me to small meals throughout the day.
Maternity Clothes: I'm still most comfortable in lounge pants and Erik's t-shirts. A sweet friend of mine at work loaned me a few pairs of maternity lounge pants, and I've basically been living in them when I'm not at the office.
Gender: It's a BOY! Reed Lewis Hill
Movement: He's moving a lot less now that he's pretty much out of room. I mostly feel him after I eat and occasionally throughout the day.
What I miss: Eating a good meal. Bland foods seem to go down the best, and I miss all of the foods I really love. (Mexican and anything with spice is off limits right now.)
Cravings: Pop-Tarts. I heard Haylie had been craving them last week, and all of a sudden I had to have them. So, I grabbed a box of strawberry Pop-Tarts at the grocery store and am eating them for dessert. I mean, how often do I have carte blanche with junk food?
Symptoms: Same old, same old - heartburn, nausea, back pain, sore hips...
Best moment of the week: Grocery shopping with Erik. On Friday, I decided that I could not brave HEB or handle meal planning anymore. Erik graciously agreed to take over those chores for the next few weeks. On Sunday, he planned out all of our meals for the week, and we went to HEB together. It was so great to have his help, to not have to push the cart and just to have his company while taking care of a mundane task. And, to not have to cook when I get home from work? Yes, please!
Looking forward to: Actual, real contractions. I've had contractions for the past several days, but I'm ready for them to actually lead to our baby.
