Along: 37 weeks - technically full term!
Size of baby: LBMH is (still) the size of a small watermelon - 19-22 inches long and about 6.5 pounds. At full term, he really is just adding weight now.
Total Weight Gain: 25-26 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Yes, definitely. It's really becoming more about what fits comfortably than what looks cute. Thank goodness there are just a few more weeks.
Gender: It's a BOY! Reed Lewis Hill
Movement: His movements have slowed down some since he's running out of room. He's most active after I eat - especially if sugar is involved. (Just like his parents - sugar junkies.)
What I miss: Sitting comfortably. I can't seem to find a way to get comfortable in my office chair or even on the couch. The exercise ball does help, so I've been sitting on that while watching TV, on the laptop, etc.
Cravings: Still chicken salad, and this week, I've been craving veggies and dill dip. The tomatoes upset my acid reflux some, but the crisp, cold veggies taste so good!
Symptoms: My heartburn and nausea seem to be better this week. The discomfort really is the only thing I've noticed this week.
Best moment of the week: I had the day off yesterday for Good Friday, and it was nice to take it slow, get a few things done around the house and relax. I also got to go with Erik to Tex's vet appointment - the first I've been to... ever. (Talk about puppy-mom guilt!) He was such a good boy and didn't even flinch when he got his shots. It makes me thankful for a husband who can take care of some of the errands and routine tasks to keep our house running. He and Tex were pros.
Looking forward to: Celebrating Easter with Mom and Dad this weekend. We're going to have a low-key, relaxed holiday. I'm actually glad I'm not allowed to travel any more. It's a good excuse to just stay home and enjoy a quiet weekend.
