Today was my second baby shower, and this time we celebrated baby Reed with my college and post-college friends. These girls have truly lived life with me, and it was so fun to see everyone. Since most of them live in Dallas, I don't get to see all of them as often as I'd like.
Rachel, Anne (Pal/Smith), Paige and Allison were the sweet hostesses for this shower, and they left no detail unattended to with this shower. There were so many creative ideas that fit little Reed perfectly!
The hostesses and some of my best friends, Paige, Rachel, Allison and Anne. I love them so much.
Reed's baby book and favors for the guests to take home - homemade cake balls made by Rach. They were so delicious!
Made by the one and only Lori Pal. How precious is this?
Yummy food and adorable table decor.
Quite possibly my favorite ideas, ever. The animal heads on the wall will be hanging in his nursery (so perfect - Rachel did an amazing job finding them). Allison also came up with the cutest idea for a craft. Each guest chose a letter from the alphabet and drew a picture representing the letter. Then, all of the pictures will go into a book for Reed. I can't wait to see the finished product! What a special keepsake!
The email banter group with our alphabet pictures.
I had to include a picture of one of my favorite gifts. Nancy Roark sent this adorable onesie with a matching burp cloth and sneakers. It is seriously the most precious little man outfit I've ever seen. I can't wait for him to wear it.
Sweet alphabet blocks from the hostesses.
Two of my ninnies (and one tiny ninny, Ellie) came to celebrate Reed, too. The three of us go back to our Bando days in high school and then lived together at Baylor. They have been such a blessing in my life!
My sweet AnnePal.
So glad that I have this lady to guide me through this experience. She is such a great momma!
Oh, how I love my Rach! She has been there through so many stages in my life and loved me unconditionally through them. She really poured her heart into this shower for our little boy, and I know she already loves him so much. There are not enough words of gratitude to give her.
What an amazing weekend of celebrations! The Corolla was loaded down on the way home to Waco, and Reed is well stocked with as many cute outfits, toys and essentials as you can imagine.
