Along: 18 weeks
Size of baby: LBMH is the size of a large mango - 6 inches long and 8 ounces. LBMH's little arms and legs are now proportionate to his or her body. No more alien baby!
Total Weight Gain: About 8 pounds
Maternity Clothes: I'm still holding on to a few pairs of "regular" pants, but I feel like their days are numbered...
Gender: ???
Movement: I felt my first little bits of movement this week! I was on a work trip, on my way back from College Station, and felt some turns in my stomach against my seatbelt. I'm pretty sure that was the baby, but I'm hoping for more definitive movements soon.
What I miss: Nothing really right now. The second trimester truly is the best.
Cravings: I repeated the blueberry pancakes craving during breakfast with the girls at Cafe Cappuccino this week. Totally worth it.
Symptoms: Nothing too bad. A little more heartburn lately, but it goes away easily.
Best moment of the week: Watching our Baylor Bears take down #1 Kansas State. We love Baylor football, win or lose, but it is just so fun to watch them do well. Erik, Paige, Chance, little CBC and I cheered our hearts out and were so happy to get the W.
Looking forward to: finding out if LBMH is a boy or girl! Our 18-week sonogram is just a few days away, and we can't wait!
